Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has mandated the release of 111 prisoners from the punitive and correctional institutions in Fujairah on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The decision is aimed at allowing the inmates to start afresh and bring happiness to their families.

According to Emirates News Agency, the prisoners, who come from various nationalities, were chosen for release based on their good conduct and behaviour. This initiative reflects H.H. Sheikh Hamad's commitment to offering prisoners a chance to reintegrate into society and improve their lives.

Major-General Mohammed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of the Fujairah Police, expressed gratitude to Sheikh Hamad for this initiative, expressing hope that the released prisoners will seize the opportunity to contribute positively to their community and exhibit good conduct.
