Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has emphasized the critical role of strong, cohesive, and happy families in building an integrated society that values its national identity and supports sustainable economic development. This statement was made during his meeting with Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family, at Al Rumaila Palace.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamad was informed by the Minister about the Ministry of Family’s plans, programmes, and initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering Emirati families, thereby enhancing their stability. He highlighted that family affairs are a top priority for the UAE government and its leadership.

H.H. Sheikh Hamad commended the efforts aimed at realizing the government’s vision and objectives, particularly in strengthening family bonds and social cohesion. These efforts are seen as vital contributions to the nation’s development.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the UAE’s leadership, under President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to support the social sector, with a special emphasis on the Emirati family as the cornerstone of nation-building.

Sana Suhail expressed her gratitude for the continuous support from the UAE leadership and appreciated the Ruler of Fujairah’s keen interest in family affairs. She praised his dedication to following up on plans and programmes and supporting initiatives that benefit family matters.
