Abu dhabi: The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the commencement of exceptional flight operations at UAE airports. This initiative aims to assist passengers stranded due to recent regional developments, allowing them to depart according to schedules that will be communicated by airlines to the affected passengers and relevant destinations.
According to Emirates News Agency, the GCAA urges passengers whose flights have been impacted not to proceed to airports until they have been contacted by their respective airlines with specific flight timings and details. This measure is to prevent congestion and ensure a smooth processing experience for all travelers.
The Authority has expressed its appreciation for the cooperation of passengers, underscoring the importance of adhering to the issued instructions. This compliance is crucial for facilitating procedures and maintaining orderly operations at the airports during this period of exceptional flight operations.
