The General Attorney, Judge Dr. Muhammad Al-Dailami directed today, Saturday, the release of 67 prisoners and detainees in the southern square directorates in Al-Hodeida province.
That came during his arrival, accompanied by the head of the Public Prosecution Office in the province, Judge Hadi Aida, to the reserve prisons of the districts of Zabid, Bayt al-Faqih, Al-Mansuriya and al-Durayhimi, to inspect the conditions of prisoners, pretrial detainees, and detainees pending criminal cases.
Al-Dailami urged prosecutors in the province's directorates to dispose cases held by prisoners, especially with the approaching judicial leave.
He directed the prosecutors to submit the statements related to the late convicts’ cases, which have passed for more than five months without execution, in order to dispose them in accordance with the law.
Albashari stressed the continuation of coordination between the local authority and the Public Prosecution in the province, which would implement the law and establish justice among the community.
