General Auditing Bureau President Participates in Board Meeting of Institute of Internal Auditors in Tanzania

Riyadh: The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Board of Directors held its second meeting on April 12-13 in Arusha, Tanzania. The meeting was attended by the President of the General Auditing Bureau, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Institute of Internal Auditors, Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari, and other members of the IIA Board of Directors.

During the session, the Council reviewed the notable activities of the current year and discussed agenda items. Several recommendations and decisions were made during the meeting.

The Council looks forward to expanding its work towards developing professional standards and raising awareness of the roles of the internal audit profession. They aim to keep up with the world’s technical and professional advancements and progress the development of the profession and its practitioners. Additionally, they will develop future strategies and plans that will lead the field toward broader horizons in line with ongoing technological developments.
