General President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais has launched the new identity of the presidency, “Our Identity”, which carries messages of development, improvement and innovation.
According to Al-Sudais, the new identity symbolizes the Islamic aspect, which is represented by the Holy Kaaba, the Prophet’s Mihrab and the two minarets of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque; the national aspect, which is represented by the emblem of Saudi Arabia, two crossed swords and a palm tree and the Saudi Riwaq; and the global aspect, which is represented by the sunlight radiating from the Holy Kaaba that reflects the universality of Islam.
Al-Sudais added that the aesthetic aspect is given by the design, colors and the X-shaped Holy Quran holder at the bottom
