The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque distributed 2 million masks to the pilgrims at the Grand Mosque for the year 1444 AH.
According to the Director of Prevention and Health Care at the general presidency, Hassan Al-Suwaihri, affirmed that these masks were part of the “Your Protection is Your Mask” Program, which is one of the initiatives of this year’s Hajj season.
The main objective of the program was to offer services to the pilgrims of the Grand Mosque, ensuring their well-being and enabling them to perform their rituals safely and healthily. Al-Suwaihri mentioned that this program has been running for three consecutive years. The two million masks for this year were made available through dedicated counters and field teams stationed at the Grand Mosque, operating round the clock.
