Santa Barbara de Iscuande:Fourteen people have been killed and seven others injured after an illegal gold mine collapsed in southwestern Colombia. The incident occurred in the rural Chambero sector of the Santa Barbara de Iscuande municipality, located in Nariño province.

According to Emirates News Agency, local authorities confirmed the fatalities and injuries. Governor Luis Alfonso Escobar announced that search and rescue operations have been concluded following the tragic accident.
