Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program Express Gratitude

Makkah: Many pilgrims hosted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership for hosting them to perform Hajj this year, praising the great services that the Kingdom provides to pilgrims.

Youssef, a British pilgrim who converted to Islam after his deep research into the Islamic religion, confirmed that he was honored this year to be part of the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program, expressing his overwhelming happiness when he directly saw the Holy Kaaba for the first time, and his feeling of deep inner peace.

Regarding the story of his conversion to Islam ten years ago, he said a short trip to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, suddenly opened the doors of faith for him. He returned to Britain to research Islam extensively, reaching a firm conviction to convert to Islam, he added.

For his part, the Deputy Imam of the Republican Palace in Banjul, Gambia, Banjul, Ayoub Sani, spoke about performing Hajj this year as
part of the program, and his renewed opportunity to visit the Kingdom, Makkah and the holy sites. He recalled his feelings 23 years ago when he was one of the students at the Islamic University in Madinah. He cited the services the program provides that enable them to perform Hajj with ease and tranquility, without discrimination or classification.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Amin, head of Places of Worship in New York City, praised the new regulations and modern technologies that contributed to facilitating Hajj procedures within the Program for the Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which was reflected in the comfort and reassurance of the pilgrims, and he expressed his happiness at being one of the beneficiaries of the program. He reported that he is working on showing the tolerant image of Islam through direct interaction with different communities and ethnicities in many places of worship in New York, which is inhabited by nearly a million Muslims and hosts about 300 mosques and Islamic centers.

He drew attention to his admiration for the continuous development the Kingdom is making in terms of employing modern technologies and organized thought in implementing Hajj and facilitating procedures to serve the guests of God.
