Hamdan bin Mohammed Reviews Progress of Key Initiatives Under Dubai’s Education 33 Strategy

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, met with Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) team at Emirates Towers. During the meeting, he reviewed the progress of new education initiatives being spearheaded by the Authority, as well as their implementation plans under Dubai's Education 33 Strategy.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed emphasized the UAE's steadfast commitment to investing in human capital, a principle deeply ingrained and supported by the nation's leadership. Guided by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE continues to prioritize high-quality education as a strategic national goal, which remains essential for human development and empowerment throughout life stages.

Sheikh Hamdan highlighted Dubai's ongoing efforts to consolidate an integrated education system that resonates with the UAE's core values. This system aims to develop talent capable of preserving national achievements while enhancing Dubai's leadership and competitiveness across various sectors. The focus is on high-quality, future-oriented education that prioritizes skill and talent development, preparing a generation that is academically successful, rooted in its identity, and capable of excelling globally.

He also expressed appreciation for KHDA's efforts to enhance Dubai's education system in accordance with the highest international standards. Sheikh Hamdan stated, 'We want every learner in Dubai to be as exceptional as their nation, distinguished by qualities and skills rooted in a strong Emirati identity, authentic values, and noble principles instilled by our Founding Fathers to empower the people of the UAE with knowledge and strengthen their readiness for the future.'

The meeting was attended by Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications; Abdulla Mohammed Al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai; and Aisha Miran, Director General of KHDA.

The KHDA team presented the key objectives of this year's initiatives, focusing on strengthening Arabic language learning, enhancing student wellbeing, and equipping learners with essential life and future skills. These initiatives are designed to meet the needs of learners and parents across all educational stages, aligning with the goals of Dubai's Education 33 Strategy.
