Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club, visited the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, which commenced on 28 August at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and will run until 6 September under the theme "A Legacy of Pride".
According to Emirates News Agency, the 23rd edition of the exhibition is the largest in its history concerning both space and number of participants, featuring extensive participation from exhibitors and local and international brands. During his visit, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan toured numerous national and international pavilions, exploring the latest products and technologies in sectors such as hunting, equestrian, and falconry, as well as initiatives promoting innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage preservation.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan remarked on the exhibition's role in reinforcing its global standing as a leading platform for preserving cultural heritage, attributing its success to the support of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He praised the exhibition as a model combining authenticity, modernity, and innovation, and highlighted Abu Dhabi's pioneering role in cultural preservation.
In addition to meeting with exhibitors to discuss their contributions to the hunting, equestrian, and heritage sectors, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan commended the exhibition's growth and its international reputation. He noted ADIHEX as a global platform that unites experts, specialists, enthusiasts, and decision-makers worldwide, enhancing Abu Dhabi's position as a heritage capital.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by several dignitaries, including Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, and other notable figures. Organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Emirates Falconers' Club, this year's ADIHEX spans ten days for the first time, showcasing its growing appeal among exhibitors and visitors from the UAE and beyond.
The event continues to offer a diverse programme featuring heritage, cultural, and family events, alongside live shows, interactive activities, and specialist auctions, drawing enthusiasts and hobbyists from around the globe.
