Riyadh: Sheikh Hazza bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan has visited the 4th Al Dhafra Date Festival and Auction, underscoring the significance of the event in preserving the UAE’s agricultural heritage. During this visit, he engaged with various pavilions and competitions, taking note of the diverse varieties of dates on display. He commended the efforts of the participating entities and acknowledged their valuable contributions to the community.

According to Emirates News Agency, the festival is being organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and is currently underway in Madinat Zayed, Al Dhafra Region. The event will run until 26 October 2026 and aims to celebrate and promote the rich cultural legacy associated with date cultivation in the UAE.
