Hazza Bin Zayed Oversees Advancements in Al Ain Housing Projects

Al ain: H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Ain Region, has reviewed the progress of work at the Al Nabbagh and Al Aamerah housing projects, which are designated for citizens as part of ongoing efforts to enhance quality of life and promote sustainable community development across Al Ain Region.

According to Emirates News Agency, upon visiting the Al Nabbagh housing project, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan directed renaming the project to Al Metlaa. During his visit, he assessed the latest developments and completion rates across several housing projects being implemented by Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA), in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC), in Al Ain Region.

H.H. Sheikh Hazza started his tour by reviewing the progress at phase one of the Al Aamerah housing project in Al Ain Region. This project, being implemented by IMKAN Properties under ADHA's supervision, spans 5.94 square kilometres and includes 2,350 residential units, with a total value of AED8 billion. The first phase is anticipated to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2028, providing a fully integrated residential ecosystem with essential facilities to meet residents' daily needs and enhance the standard of living.

The tour also included a visit to the model villa at Al Metlaa housing project (formerly Al Nabbagh), which is being executed by Bloom Holding under ADHA and ADPIC's supervision. Covering an area of 5.1 square kilometres, this project will deliver 2,236 residential villas for citizens, with a total value of AED8 billion, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2028. Citizens with housing loans from ADHA have the opportunity to purchase villas in this strategically located development, which offers various villa designs and a comprehensive suite of facilities.

During the visit, H.H. Sheikh Hazza underscored the importance of developing integrated housing projects in Al Ain Region as a means to enhance citizens' wellbeing and quality of life. He emphasized that these projects align with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aiming to provide citizens with suitable housing within modern residential communities.

Accompanying H.H. Sheikh Hazza during the visit were several dignitaries, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ADHA and ADPIC; Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director-General of ADHA; Rashed Musabbeh Al Manei, Director-General of Al Ain City Municipality; and Eng Maysarah Mahmoud Eid, Director-General of ADPIC.

Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa expressed the commitment to implementing leadership directives by developing housing projects that promote social stability and enhance citizens' wellbeing. Hamad Hareb AlMuhairi highlighted that these projects are part of ADHA's commitment to meet citizens' housing needs through suitable housing options provided via the 'Expression of Interest' service. Eng Maysarah Mahmoud Eid reinforced ADPIC's dedication to creating integrated communities with advanced infrastructure to support quality living in the Al Ain Region and beyond.
