The Minister of Public Health and Population Taha al-Mutawakil was briefed on the activities of al-Rahma Foundation for Human Development.
Minister al-Mutawaki learned about the level of educational and rehabilitative services and activities provided by the institution to 530 orphans of all ages.
The Minister of Health was also briefed on the institution's health center and the services it provides to the institution's employees, as well as the equipment in the center's laboratory, which was supplied by the National Center for Public Health Laboratories with laboratory equipment, staff, and equipment in the dental clinic and other facilities of the center.
Al-Mutawakil was briefed on the departments of the institution, the most important of which are the children's nursery, the sewing workshop, the pastry and baked goods factory, the places designated for children's residence, classrooms, and other rehabilitation and educational buildings.
The Minister of Health heard from head of the Foundation Ruqaya al-Hajri a clarification about the activities provided by the Foundation in caring of male and female orphans, and their education and educational and family rehabilitation for this segment, starting from childhood until the graduation years at the university, stressing the need to support the Foundation in order to enable it to develop its humanitarian projects.
He stressed the importance of integrating efforts to provide the necessary support for the Foundation to enable it to carry out its humanitarian activities to the fullest.
