Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi headed today the delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia attending the 9th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) Ministerial Committee for Civil Service in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting addresses topics on the agenda, including workforce nationalization in the GCC, the council’s labor and employment strategy, the establishment of end-of-service remuneration system for expatriate workers living in the GCC countries, the budget of the Executive Office for 2024 and the GCC Secretariat General proposal for on-the-job training programs.
Meetings such as this highlight the GCC countries’ endeavor to boost cooperation in the field of labor, in order to keep abreast of changes in the labor market worldwide.
