Jakarta, Indonesian officials have praised Saudi Arabia’s support to orphans, highlighting efforts made by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in West Java and Central Java provinces this year.
The officials participated yesterday in a ceremony held in Jakarta by WAMY to launch an orphan care project that included distributing food baskets and clothes and paying tuition fees for the orphans.
The project extended support to more than 2,000 orphan boys and girls. The officials and their families hailed WAMY’s social efforts and projects in Indonesia, especially those related to supporting orphans.
They also thanked the Saudi government and people for this humanitarian gesture, lauding the Kingdom’s efforts to stand by the orphans.
