Dubai: InfraX, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e and, a global technology group, to establish a strategic partnership aimed at the joint development and commercialization of advanced connectivity and infrastructure solutions in Dubai.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was signed by Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman - Digital and Group CEO of Digital DEWA, and Masood M. Sharif Mahmood, Chief Executive Officer, e and UAE, during GITEX Global 2025. This partnership will focus on co-developing and commercializing advanced connectivity and infrastructure solutions, including private cellular networks, to bring new growth opportunities and deliver greater value and efficiency to enterprise and government clients.
Marwan Bin Haidar emphasized the partnership as a milestone in empowering Dubai's digital economy through world-class connectivity infrastructure. He highlighted the creation of new opportunities to deliver secure and scalable network solutions that will enhance smart city innovation in Dubai.
Masood M. Sharif Mahmood noted that Dubai serves as a testbed for next-generation digital infrastructure. The collaboration between InfraX and e and aims to create a unified fabric to connect people, systems, and industries, enabling efficiency, resilience, and innovation. The partnership will focus on delivering private 5.5G networks and IoT solutions for various operational environments, enhancing connectivity for enterprises, government entities, and citizens.
The collaboration will revolve around strategic pillars such as market expansion, infrastructure synergy, and go-to-market integration. Both entities aim to co-develop innovative products and services that meet evolving enterprise needs and unlock new revenue streams.
