Abu dhabi: The International Charity Organisation (ICO) has launched its 'Their Health is a Trust' campaign for 2026, with the aim of implementing projects exceeding AED 6 million.

According to Emirates News Agency, Dr. Khalid Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the ICO, stated that these projects will include treating 200 medical cases both inside and outside the UAE. The initiative will also focus on building numerous health centres in impoverished areas, along with providing essential medical equipment and devices to hospitals and clinics in the most needy regions globally.

Dr. Al-Khaja emphasized that the organisation hopes the campaign will serve as a beacon of hope for many underprivileged communities. The ICO aspires to extend beyond merely offering treatment by establishing comprehensive health facilities. These facilities will be equipped with the latest medical devices including those for dialysis, diabetes care, blood pressure monitoring, oxygen cylinders, and hearing aids among others.
