Abu Dhabi:Investopia Bridge 2026, hosted at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, focused on 'Investing in a More Resilient World.' The event featured eight specialized roundtables, bringing together ministers, investors, senior executives, and entrepreneurs to discuss economic and investment topics amidst global economic transformations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the roundtables addressed various themes, including innovation in the built environment, SME growth, digital financial infrastructure, UAE-Uzbekistan investment opportunities, family office strategies, electric mobility, and impact investment.

UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, participated in the 'Unlocking the Next Phase of Growth' session under the Next50 initiative, which connects UAE companies with business leaders and investors. This session focused on future business growth opportunities, expansion, financing, and partnerships.

With a focus on strengthening ties between the UAE and Uzbekistan, a session titled 'UAE and Uzbekistan: Connecting Capital with Opportunity' explored investment prospects in sectors like energy, tourism, and logistics. It aimed to foster economic collaboration and long-term business relationships between the two nations.

Discussions on innovation in the built environment emphasized moving solutions from pilots to commercial deployment, exploring artificial intelligence and data roles, and building cross-market partnerships.

The roundtable on SMEs, organized by Hal and SC Ventures, examined challenges in accessing financing, technology, and logistics, highlighting integrated solutions to aid SME expansion.

Klickl organized a session on 'From Digital Assets to Digital Financial Infrastructure,' focusing on developing trusted financial systems, stablecoin settlements, and collaboration opportunities for improved international trade.

Family offices were the focus of a session on strategic capital allocation, exploring resilience in investment portfolios, liquidity balance, and capital reallocation in emerging sectors like artificial intelligence.

Electric mobility discussions, led by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, explored the UAE's electric vehicle ecosystem, charging infrastructure growth, and lifecycle opportunities like battery recycling.

Majra's 'Impact Investment Lab' addressed capital flow limitations in impact investment, emphasizing standards, risk-sharing, and a supportive federal framework. The outcomes are expected to enhance the National Impact Investment Report currently in development.
