Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi confirmed on Saturday that his country stands by Syria, as it was in the past, and insists on standing continuously with the Syrian people and supporting the axis of resistance.

The Iranian President said in an interview with the Syrian News Agency, SANA, that the Syrian position is right and correct, and that Syria, despite the threats and sanctions against it, stands against the forces of global evil in order to achieve justice and peace.

He added that the Americans occupied some areas in Syria to plunder its wealth in an attempt to achieve their goals that they failed to achieve through terrorism, but the resistance of the Syrian people will defeat their plans, and victory will be Syria’s ally in the end.

The Iranian president stressed that the solution to the concerns of Syria’s neighboring countries is the return of all Syrian lands to the sovereignty of the state, and that there should be no Turkish forces on any part of Syrian territory.
