Iraq: Four terrorists were killed in an airstrike conducted by the Iraqi Ministry of Defence’s Joint Operations Command in the Hamrin Mountains, located within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector near the Salahuddin Operations Command border.
According to Emirates News Agency, a statement from the command detailed that the successful operation was a result of distinguished intelligence and intensive follow-up, which led to the identification of a terrorist detachment consisting of four elements. The airstrike, executed by F-16 aircraft, effectively targeted the terrorists’ hideout, resulting in their deaths and the destruction of the location.
The statement further mentioned that the operation led to the destruction of weapons, ammunition, and other logistical and explosive materials. The command reiterated its commitment to continue monitoring terrorist movements to ensure their elimination from Iraqi soil.
