Described as the most brutal night in Gaza since October 7, Sunday night witnessed dozens of air raids launched by the Israeli occupation, directly targeting more than 18 inhabited homes and residential structures, killing over 400 Palestinians in the preceding 24 hours. The government media office in Gaza on Monday said Israel struck inhabited homes without giving inhabitants any advance notice, razed homes on top of their occupants, and killed over 80 Palestinians on Sunday night, the majority of whom were children and women. Eyewitnesses said that 30 bodies, most of them children and women, were recovered in Jabalia camp, northeast of Gaza, from the rubble of a house. On Monday morning, Israeli aircraft also struck the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Hospital in the center of Gaza City, which is home to the majority of the injured and medical personnel, as well as the area around the Al-Quds Hospital for the second time and the Indonesian Hospital. A significant number of people are still buried beneath the rubble and are difficult to rescue due to a lack of resources and mechanisms. Since October 7, there have been 4,741 fatalities in the Gaza Strip, including more than 1,873 children and 1,023 women, and over 14,000 injuries caused by Israeli bombardment.
