Jordan parliament warns Israeli authorities against imposing restrictions during Christian holidays

The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Friday warned the Israeli authorities against restrictions on access for Christians to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in occupied Jerusalem. The committee stated that Israel’s measures against Christians are “rejected and condemned,” especially as Christians expect Easter next Sunday. The committee chairperson MP Khaldoun Hina talked about the “need” for Israel to refrain from measures limiting the freedom of worship in the holy places in occupied Jerusalem. The committee warned of the continued Israeli Jewish violations and the Israeli army against Palestinians and Jerusalemites.
