Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Attends Police College Graduation Ceremony


Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended the graduation ceremony of the 37th cohort of cadet officers at the Police College. The event also celebrated the 40th cohort of male university graduates, the 24th cohort of female university graduates, and participants from brotherly Arab nations and other friendly countries, including those in the Academy Exchange Program of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).



According to Emirates News Agency, the ceremony featured the presence of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior. The graduating cohort comprised a total of 456 graduates, including 12 from brotherly Arab countries and 52 international graduates enrolled in the IACP Academy Exchange Program from 35 countries. This highlights the UAE’s role in promoting international cooperation and the exchange of expertise in policing and security.



H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates and emphasized the importance of applying their acquired knowledge and skills to develop modern policing systems. He stressed the need to integrate advanced technologies, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence into police work to ensure community security.



The ceremony began with a parade and the police band performing the UAE national anthem. The graduates demonstrated leadership and professionalism through a military display. H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan honoured top-performing graduates, including Officer Cadet Obaid Khalifa Obaid Al Kaabi, who received the Sword of Honour.



Brigadier General Walid Salem Al Shamsi, Commander of the Police College, expressed pride in graduating protectors of the nation. He emphasized the responsibility graduates carry for national security and highlighted the college’s regional and international reputation.



The ceremony concluded with the graduating cohort handing over the Police College flag to the succeeding cohort, symbolizing the continuity of the college’s mission. Graduates pledged loyalty to the President of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took commemorative photographs with them.



The Police College aims to prepare elite security personnel by integrating advanced academic and training methodologies with technology and artificial intelligence, supporting the UAE’s vision for a future-ready security ecosystem.
