Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Chairs ADNOC Meeting to Drive Growth and Innovation

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, led a meeting of the Executive Committee of the ADNOC Board of Directors at the company's headquarters in Abu Dhabi. The meeting focused on reviewing ADNOC's performance and strategic priorities, emphasizing plans for domestic growth and international expansion through its global arm, XRG.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions included ADNOC's initiatives to accelerate digital transformation using advanced artificial intelligence solutions and its commitment to developing national talent in the energy sector. The meeting also highlighted the success of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2025, organized by ADNOC. The event played a crucial role in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the energy sector, attracting over 239,000 attendees from 172 countries and generating AED168.8 billion (US$46 billion) in cross-sector deals.

ADNOC used the platform to announce agreements aimed at international growth through XRG, utilizing artificial intelligence and maximizing value for the UAE. Notable announcements included a contract awarded by TA'ZIZ for the UAE's first integrated single-site PVC production complex and a framework agreement by XRG with Argentina's YPF and Italy's Eni for a potential integrated LNG project in Argentina.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, and Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, who contributed to the discussions on maintaining competitiveness in the evolving global energy landscape.
