Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, welcomed over 80 global leaders from the sectors of energy, technology, climate, and investment to the ENACT Majlis held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre. The meeting focused on strengthening regional and global strategic collaborations in artificial intelligence, advanced technology, energy, and climate to address emerging climate challenges.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Khaled highlighted the need for intensified global efforts to leverage economic and social opportunities from the AI-Energy-Climate Nexus. He emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise and knowledge among global partners in these fields, essential for making real progress on the ground.

The ENACT Majlis, convened by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, was held under Chatham House rules and themed “AI and Energy, Powering a Sustainable Future.” It served as a platform for open discussions and the exchange of knowledge to support global sustainable development efforts. The event coincided with the release of a joint report by ADNOC, Masdar, and Microsoft and preceded the ADIPEC 2024, the world’s largest energy event.
Participants included notable figures such as Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice, Brad Smith of Microsoft, Jonathan Ross of Groq, Strive Masiyiwa of Econet, and several CEOs from leading global energy companies. The Majlis aimed to align efforts and visions to apply AI solutions and technologies across sectors, seeking a tangible positive impact at local, regional, and global levels.
