Khorfakkan: The Sharjah Sports Council has announced that the fifth edition of the Khorfakkan Cycling Challenge will take place on Saturday, 25 October, coinciding with Arab Cycling Day. The event will feature two distinct routes, catering to a wide range of participants and cycling enthusiasts.
According to Emirates News Agency, the race will offer a 27 km course starting from Khorfakkan Waterfall to the rest area, along with a 24 km course that starts and ends at the waterfall. These route modifications aim to accommodate broader participation, including a special race designed for wheelchair users.
The men’s 27 km race is set to commence at 6:30 am, with the women’s race following five minutes later. The 24 km race for both men and women will begin simultaneously at 6:40 am. An award ceremony is planned for 8:30 am, concluding the event.
