King Abdulaziz Foundation Participates in Beijing International Book Fair 2024


Beijing, King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah) has participated in Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) in China within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion as a guest of honour for this year’s edition, showcasing its scientific publications in the fields of history, geography, and heritage.

The foundation’s pavilion saw a large number of visitors, reflecting the strong interest in its distinguished publications. During the fair, the Chinese Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee, Li Shulei, visited the foundation’s corner in the Saudi pavilion. He reviewed the foundation’s publications, admired many of them, and purchased one of the translated books, which signifies the depth of cultural relations between the Kingdom and the People’s Republic of China.

As part of the accompanying events of the fair, the foundation will hold a seminar next Friday on Saudi-Chinese relations. The seminar will include the participation of a group of academics and specialists who wil
l discuss various aspects of cultural and commercial relations between the two countries. This seminar presents an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and China in the cultural and scientific fields.
