The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched an emergency food aid project on Tuesday for families affected by the floods and heavy rains caused by Cyclone Daniel, which recently struck several regions in Libya, resulting in significant loss of life and property. The project was launched in cooperation with the Libyan Red Crescent Society.
The project aims to distribute 72,681 food baskets in the areas of Tobruk, Derna, Susah, Shahat, Al-Bayda, Jebel Akhdar Coast, Al-Marj, Al-Abyar, and Tocra, benefiting 106,000 individuals.
These efforts are part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment, through KSrelief, to support countries and peoples facing various crises.
