Kuwait city: The General Staff of the Kuwait Army announced that the air defence systems successfully engaged with hostile objects that intruded into the country's airspace on Monday morning.

According to Emirates News Agency, the General Staff released a statement through the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) indicating that the blasts heard in certain parts of the country were the result of mid-air interceptions. The statement also urged the public to follow the safety instructions provided by the competent authorities.
