Kuwait’s Al-Mansour wins gold medal of CMAS Finswimming World Championship

Kuwait’s Mansour Al-Mansour won Monday the gold medal in the 50 meters underwater race in the World Junior and Masters Finswimming Championships, held in Cairo, with the participation of 36 countries.

In remarks to KUNA, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation and head of the technical committee in the Kuwaiti Diving Federation, Hani Bin Hussain, affirmed that this medal is the first international gold medal for Kuwait in this game for the age group between 34-39 years.

Bin Hussain dedicated this victory to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to the President of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah and the Public Sports Authority, praising the support they provided to all Kuwaiti participants.

Yesterday, Kuwaiti swimmer Abdulaziz Al-Raish won the silver medal of Men’s 100-meter bi-fins fin swimming competition.
