Kuwait’s FM partakes in Arab consultative meeting

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday met with Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Albusaidi, on the sidelines of the ministerial consultative meeting in Jeddah.

During the meeting, distinguished bilateral relations and means to enhance them on levels were discussed.

Later The Kuwaiti top diplomat joined his GCC peers, along with Iraqi and Egyptian counterparts, for informal consultations around ‘Suhour’.

A foreign ministry statement said chief among issues consulted over was the Palestinian cause, as the gathering condemned Israeli breaches of holy sites’ sanctity, countering all international laws. The Syrian conflict was also on the table, with a political solution stressed in a manner that would preserve the Arab country’s unity, safety and sovereignty.
