Stockholm: H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, held a significant meeting with leaders of the World Childhood Foundation and toured Campus Manilla in Sweden as part of her official visit to the country. She led a high-level delegation comprising ministers and government officials.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting with the World Childhood Foundation focused on reviewing the organization's key initiatives and programmes aimed at child protection and well-being, with a particular emphasis on the challenges posed by the digital environment. Discussions centered around creating safe digital spaces for children and raising awareness of online risks to ensure the next generation can benefit from technology while mitigating its adverse impacts.
In addition to the meeting, H.H. Sheikha Latifa visited Campus Manilla, where she explored the school's learning environment and facilities. During the visit, she received a briefing on the school's educational model, which aims to enhance the learning experience, develop students' skills, and encourage active student participation in various educational processes.
The visit to Campus Manilla highlighted the school's teaching methodologies, which prioritize nurturing creative thinking and promoting exploration within a modern educational framework. This approach supports both academic achievements and personal development.
Throughout these engagements, H.H. Sheikha Latifa was joined by Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet; Hessa Buhumaid, Director-General of Dubai's Community Development Authority; and other members of her delegation.
