Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, inaugurated the fifth edition of the ‘Emarat Al Aman’ competitions at Dubai Mall’s Zabeel Sports District. The event, which continues until 7th November, is organized by Dubai’s Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) in collaboration with Emaar.

According to Emirates News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by several key figures, including Awad Hader Al Muhairi, Chairman of SIRA; Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, CEO of SIRA; Yousuf Al Shaibani, CEO of the Dubai Electronic Security Centre; and Omar Al-Adidi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Council for Border Crossing Points Security.

Launched in 2018, ‘Emarat Al Aman’ aims to promote security awareness and community engagement. The event has drawn participation from over 500 teams and 4,200 individuals since its inception, encouraging active involvement from public and private sectors, alongside the broader community, reflecting the UA
E’s principles of unity and collaboration.

This year’s competition includes a variety of physical and mental challenges designed to enhance teamwork, leadership, and strategic thinking among participants. Supported by strategic partners such as UXI, Fly Dubai, Emirates NBD, U by Emaar, Emaar Gift Cards, and Dubai Media as the official media partner, the event promises a comprehensive experience.

The fifth edition introduces innovative side events, including an art exhibition that showcases a photo gallery documenting the event’s journey over the past five editions, and another exhibition offering an interactive artistic experience with renowned artists.

SIRA has also developed new challenges to elevate the competition standards and maintain excitement among teams vying for significant prizes.
