The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected cold to relatively cold weather in a number of governorates during the next 24 hours.
The center alerted citizens, especially the elderly, children and patients in mountainous areas, interior plateaus and deserts, of the cold weather.
It also warned seafarers and fishermen in the Socotra Archipelago, the south of the western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of the turbulent sea and high waves.
