The Minister of Fisheries, Muhammad Muhammad al-Zubairi, and the head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea, Hussein Hamid al-Attas, inspected on Thursday the progress of work on the project to deepen the sea gate of the fishing port in Hodeida, funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Finance Unit in the province.
Minister Al-Zubairi stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the project in accordance with the agreed specifications, which ensure the achievement of the desired goals in developing the port and alleviate the suffering of fishermen.
After that, Al-Zubairi and Al-Attas made an inspection visit to the coastal marina of Balaa in Al-Durayhimi, where he was briefed on the nature of the work there and its needs that serve the fishermen who frequent it to market fish.
