Ministry of Culture and Emirates Association Unite to Boost Cultural Development

Ras al khaimah: The Ministry of Culture and the Emirates Association for Social Development in Ras Al Khaimah have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing national partnerships and supporting cultural development. The agreement seeks to expand cultural and social awareness programs, empower youth, and reinforce the collective national identity.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mubarak Al Nakhi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Association for Social Development, in the presence of key officials from both entities. The partnership will involve the joint implementation of cultural and community programs, events, and training workshops focused on national identity, heritage, and culture. Additionally, the collaboration will include the development of research projects, exchange of expertise, and support for community initiatives aimed at raising cultural awareness.

The agreement also emphasizes nurturing Emirati talents and advancing national cultural and artistic programs. It seeks to empower community associations to access specialized cultural content and promote collaboration in documentation, publishing, and joint cultural events. Mubarak Al Nakhi highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to forming effective partnerships with community institutions to strengthen the national cultural landscape. He emphasized that cultural development is a shared responsibility that contributes to raising awareness and positively shaping individuals.

Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif Khalifa expressed pride in the partnership, underscoring the significance of institutional cooperation in achieving sustainable cultural and social development.
