Dubai: The Ministry of Finance (MoF) is set to unveil significant milestones in its digital transformation journey, along with innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing financial services and digital infrastructure development at GITEX Global 2025. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 13th to 17th October.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Ministry’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering innovation in the financial sector and promoting financial sustainability by staying abreast of the latest advancements. Younis Haji AlKhoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, highlighted that the involvement in GITEX Global 2025 is part of the Ministry’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation across the public finance ecosystem and integrate advanced technologies for a smart, sustainable financial environment.
AlKhoori mentioned that the exhibition serves as a strategic platform for showcasing the Ministry’s digital achievements focused on innovation and improving service efficiency. He stated, “At the Ministry of Finance, we are moving forward with a vision focused on developing an advanced digital infrastructure that enhances financial decision-making, strengthens transparency and efficiency, and supports the development of a competitive, knowledge-based ecosystem that delivers an exceptional customer experience built on quality and speed.”
AlKhoori further emphasized that GITEX offers a valuable opportunity to engage with local and international partners and explore cooperation in fintech, artificial intelligence, and data analytics. This engagement is crucial for bolstering the Ministry’s readiness to tackle future challenges and design proactive solutions. He reiterated that adopting the latest technologies is essential to achieving the goals outlined in ‘We the UAE 2031’, ‘UAE Centennial 2071’, and the ‘UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031’. The Ministry aims to build a digital financial ecosystem that enhances the quality of life and strengthens financial sustainability.
The Ministry highlighted that its participation in GITEX Global 2025 intends to showcase digital initiatives supporting national strategy targets, improving the resilience and efficiency of the public finance system, and providing an integrated experience grounded in digital empowerment to meet customer needs and aspirations.
