Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education concluded Tuesday the sessions and interactive exhibition associated with the launch of the 2024-2030 MOEHE strategy The participants held three sessions over two days as part of the strategy rolled out under the slogan “Igniting the Spark of Learning”, which is concerned with the MOEHE’s scholarships abroad policy and the development of teachers and schools.
The first session introduced the objectives of the program to raise the level of education outcomes and enhance the efficiency of school leaders. The session also discussed the role of The Permanent Committee for School Development in finding solutions to school challenges and enhancing the exchange of ideas and constructive practices.
During the second session, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Hareb Mohammed Al Jabri, reviewed the government scholarship plan and its programs for the academic year 2025, which aims to r
aise the efficiency of human capital and the quality of education outcomes.
The third session was attended by more than 1,000 male and female teachers and it was moderated by the MOEHE’s Director of Public Relations and Communications, Maryam Abdullah Al Mohannadi. MOEHE’s Director of the Training and Development Center, Iman Salman Al Mohannadi, gave a brief presentation on 13 projects, all of whom aim to develop teachers skills and enhance their capacities.
The speakers at the session urged their fellow teachers to take advantage of the training opportunities provided by the MOEHE, stressing the pivotal role of teachers in building an advanced society and preparing generations with the knowledge, values and skills that qualify them to achieve the ambitious visions of the State of Qatar in all fields.
