His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received at Rumailah Palace Antonio Spinos, President of the International Karate Federation, accompanied by Major General Nasser Al Razzuqi, President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations and a number of heads of the game federations in the world. The visit comes on the sidelines of the conclusion of the World Youth Karate League (Premier League Karate 1), which is being held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah and hosted by the emirate at Zayed Sports Complex.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah welcomed the President of the International Karate Federation and the organizing committee of the tournament and its guests, praising its objectives that serve the game of karate and its role in attracting players from various sports clubs from different countries of the world.
His Highness stressed Fujairah’s keenness to organize and host international competitions in various sports, pointing to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to provide all capabilities and resources for the success of sports tournaments and achieve their goals that promote the sports sector and enhance the country’s presence in this field globally.
The President of the International Karate Federation thanked and appreciated His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah for the reception, appreciating the support of the Government of Fujairah, and His Highness’s interest, which constitutes a continuous motivation to serve sports and achieve its spread around the world.
