Mohammed bin Rashid Witnesses UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, was present at the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025, attended by more than 500 government officials.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed that the meetings represent the largest national gathering of its kind, driven by the spirit of the Union and the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The focus remains on achieving national priorities, with UAE government teams working together to reinforce the country’s leadership across various sectors.

During the meetings, which extend until Thursday, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed reviewed significant activities and initiatives aimed at accelerating progress on national priorities, enhancing UAE’s leadership in future-oriented sectors, and maintaining its influential regional and global positions.

He participated in the ceremonies for the second editions of the UAE AI Award and the UAE Order for Culture and Creativity. Additionally, he attended a panel discussion led by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, who shared the emirate’s vision for comprehensive development.

The event included a visit to the ‘National Identity: Legacy and Responsibility’ exhibition, showcasing government achievements and UAE’s cultural heritage. Sheikh Mohammed also visited the Pulse of the Nation space, designed to foster national loyalty and community ties through interactive experiences.

The agenda featured the Ministerial Development Council meeting, marking the first gathering of ministers and senior officials from federal and local entities across the UAE. Executive Councils in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah also convened.

The meetings launched several initiatives, including the AI Readiness Indicator and a project to identify 1,000 AI applications. Strategic partnerships with universities and national academic institutions were also announced to promote institutional excellence.

Keynote sessions and national briefings addressed major priorities related to ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision, traffic congestion, healthcare realities, water security, and regional and global shifts affecting the UAE.

Discussion panels in the Pulse of the Nation space brought together officials to discuss policies supporting the sustainability of the Emirati family as a development pillar.

In a first for the Annual Meetings, the UAE Government Media Office organized the UAE International Press Conference, featuring ministers and attended by over 200 journalists from various media outlets.
