Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah Contributes AED40 Million to Edge of Life Campaign

Dubai: Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah announced a contribution of AED40 million in support of the Edge of Life campaign to rescue five million children from hunger. This initiative was launched during Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, with the aim of raising a minimum of AED1 billion to implement sustainable programs fighting childhood hunger globally.

According to Emirates News Agency, this contribution is part of the strong community response to the Edge of Life campaign, an initiative of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). The campaign builds upon previous Ramadan campaigns launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, receiving a wide response from the UAE community.

The campaign aims to combat childhood hunger worldwide, which remains a significant global threat to the fundamental right to life. It undermines healthy growth and stability in vulnerable communities, making efforts to fight it an urgent humanitarian and moral imperative. The Edge of Life campaign is organized in partnership with UNICEF, Save the Children, the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and Action Against Hunger.

Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah affirmed that the campaign serves as a noble message from the UAE to the world, mobilizing global efforts to address this challenge. It reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for humanitarian action and his directives to extend vital support to the world's most underserved populations. Al Naboodah emphasized the honor of contributing to the campaign, aligning with the UAE's ongoing humanitarian efforts, particularly during Ramadan.

The campaign continues to welcome donations and contributions from institutions and individuals through seven main channels, including the campaign's website and a dedicated call center. Contributions are also possible via bank transfers, SMS, the DubaiNow app, YallaGive.com, and Dubai's community contributions platform Jood.
