National Water Company Ready for Post-Hajj Season with 2.6 Million Cubic Meter Storage in Madinah


Madinah, The National Water Company (NWC) has unveiled its operational plan to provide water services to pilgrims and visitors in Madinah following the Hajj season. This plan leverages strategic water storage exceeding 2.6 million cubic meters.

According to the NWC, the company’s post-Hajj efforts focus on serving the continued influx of visitors and pilgrims to the Prophet’s Mosque. A dedicated team of over 1,200 personnel across various field and technical service areas will ensure smooth operations.

The plan includes daily water pumping exceeding 610,000 cubic meters throughout the post-Hajj season. Over 560 water quality tests will be conducted daily to guarantee the water’s safety for consumption. The NWC will maintain continuous water pumping to the Prophet’s Mosque, the central area, and all religious sites around the clock.
