DUBAI: The New Media Academy (NMA) has launched a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Digital Content Creation” in collaboration with the Ajman Chamber. Held from 28th to 31st October, the workshop aims to train 25 communication professionals from various government and private sector entities, along with entrepreneurs from Ajman.
This workshop is part of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) signed by the Academy and the Ajman Chamber last February to foster joint collaboration and provide an innovative, sustainable educational platform that supports economic development and entrepreneurship in Ajman and the UAE.
The workshop underscores the commitment of both NMA and Ajman Chamber to enhance digital skills among government communication personnel and develop a qualified national workforce adept in the latest global practices within the communication field, fostering innovation and creativity in content creation.

ademy’s dedication to partnering with national institutions to upskill their workforce. She noted that the workshop aims to equip participants with essential skills and expertise to navigate the fast-paced challenges in government communication, enhancing their capacity to engage positively and effectively with target audiences. The workshop incorporates the latest tools and solutions in communication to support government initiatives.
She added, “The workshop, delivered by NMA experts and social media influencers, covers the latest trends in strategic communication, media presentation skills, content creation and management for social media platforms, message development, media crisis management, effective storytelling for government narratives, and positive digital media engagement.”
Marwan Hareb Al Ariani, Executive Director of the Ajman Centre for Entrepreneurship at Ajman Chamber, said that the workshop aligns with the Centre’s commitment to providing quality services in education, training, consulting
, and supporting talent across various fields, especially in digital media. This effort, he explained, aims to empower new generations with the tools and skills necessary to keep pace with the developments in this vital sector, contributing to Ajman’s digital economy.
The Fundamentals of Digital Content Creation workshop focuses on the latest trends in media and modern communication, aiming to bolster government presence across various social and digital media platforms to meet current and future demands. It also highlights strategies for developing communication campaigns that support government programmes and policies.
The workshop covers a range of core topics addressing various aspects of digital content creation, including creative writing, mobile photography and video editing, utilising analytical tools to understand audience demographics, and designing effective social media promotion strategies. Practical advice is also offered on building a strong digital identity to enhance government institutions
