Ali Ahmed Al Derazi, President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), chaired the 14th Board of Commissioners meeting.

He reviewed NIHR's efforts to introduce the position of Child Rights Commissioner, who is responsible for protecting and promoting children's rights, and outlined the future work mechanism of this position.

The meeting also discussed the preparations for the international conference on the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment to be held in September.
