Oil Prices Decline Amid Middle East Crude Export Recovery

Abu Dhabi:Oil prices fell 2.5% at settlement on Tuesday as investors focused on signs of a recovery in crude exports from the Middle East.

According to Emirates News Agency, Brent crude futures dropped $2.69, or 2.6%, to settle at $102.59 per barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude decreased to $89.38, a decline of $3.22 or 3.5%.

Despite the recent decline, Brent is on track for a monthly gain of about 13%, while WTI is expected to see a 4% rise.
