Abu dhabi: Oil prices rebounded 1 percent on Tuesday from a plunge in the previous session: Oil prices saw a recovery of 1 percent on Tuesday following a significant drop in the prior session that had raised concerns among traders and investors.
According to Emirates News Agency, front-month Brent futures increased by $1.12, or 1.3 percent, reaching $84.89 a barrel by 0355 GMT. This rise came after a steep 7 percent decline in the previous session, which had pushed prices to a three-week low. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also experienced an upswing, climbing 77 cents, or 1 percent, to $81.11. This increase followed a drop of more than 5 percent in the previous session, positioning WTI at its lowest level in nearly a week.
