Oman Summons Iranian Ambassador Over Drone Strikes in Musandam, Al Wusta

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has taken a diplomatic step by summoning Mousa Farhang, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Oman, in response to drone strikes targeting sites in the Governorates of Musandam and Al Wusta. This move was reported by Oman News Agency (ONA) on Sunday.

According to Emirates News Agency, a formal note of protest was handed to the Iranian Ambassador by Sheikh Khalid bin Hashil Al Musalhi, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs. The exchange took place in Muscat, where Al Musalhi expressed Oman's significant concern over the incidents.

Al Musalhi emphasized the importance of respecting state sovereignty and maintaining good relations between neighboring countries. He highlighted the need for non-interference in internal affairs and adherence to established international norms and moral principles that govern the relations between the countries and their peoples.
