Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi discussed with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian means of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations, and following up on the results of the visit of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, to Tehran last May.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed means of activating and strengthening joint areas of cooperation in cultural, trade, economic and investment affairs, energy projects, transportation, ports and other aspects aimed at supporting economic diversification between the two countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and regional and international developments, and affirmed their support for all peaceful efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in the world.
