Gaza city: Over 10,000 tonnes of UAE aid have successfully entered the Gaza Strip as part of a significant humanitarian effort. Five convoys, carrying various forms of Emirati humanitarian aid, crossed into the region via the Rafah Border Crossing in Egypt. This initiative falls under the ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’ mission, aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in their current challenging circumstances.

According to Emirates News Agency, the convoys included 100 trucks transporting more than 2,376 tonnes of aid, comprising food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. The cumulative aid delivered through the Rafah crossing has now surpassed 10,000 tonnes.

The process is meticulously managed by the Emirati humanitarian aid team stationed in Al Arish. Their responsibilities include overseeing the precise loading of aid, ensuring its safe passage through the Rafah Border Crossing, and confirming its delivery to beneficiaries within the Gaza Strip.

Since the initiation of the truce, the UAE has intensified its humanitarian relief operations. These efforts have played a crucial role in mitigating the harsh conditions faced by the Palestinian people in the Strip. The aid provided has helped alleviate suffering and addressed the essential needs of the most vulnerable groups.

The UAE continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, striving to lessen the impact of the current situation and standing firmly in solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip.
